Palm Beach Health Network Physician Group Names New Chief Executive Officer
Boca Raton, Fla. – November 8, 2021 –
Palm Beach Health Network Physician Group (PBHNPG) this week announced the selection of Eric J. McBride, MBA, MHSA, as CEO.
“We are excited to welcome Eric to our team,” said Warren Stowell, Vice President, Tenet Physician Resources. “He is an experienced leader with over two decades of experience in physician group management and strategy. In addition, his knowledge and expertise in business operations and experience of leading several physician organizations as well as an accountable care organization (ACO) will continue to drive growth momentum to this key market.”
In this role, McBride is responsible for the operations and strategic growth of physician practices across Palm Beach County. “I look forward to leading this physician group’s focus on delivering the very best clinical care while continuing to attract top-notch doctors to our network and capitalizing on opportunities to expand our service lines,” said McBride.
Prior to joining the Palm Beach Health Network Physician Group, McBride served as the Chief Operating Officer for Reliance Health Accountable Care Organization, in Detroit, Michigan. There, he was responsible for overseeing program and business operations for MSSP and Next Generation ACO products.

Before his tenure at Reliance Healthcare, McBride served as Vice President – Specialty Services with Beaumont Medical Group in Michigan. There he was responsible for overseeing clinical operations for more than 300 specialty physicians boarded in over 50 specialty areas supported by 750 employees. In 2013, Crain’s Detroit Business, a weekly newspaper and online edition with a prestigious 40 under 40 honorees award, recognized McBride for taking their region to new heights. According to Crain’s Detroit Business, the honor highlights the best and brightest in Southeast Michigan who have made their marks in business before age 40. Crain’s Detroit Business recognized McBride for developing and leading a turnaround plan that resulted in increased revenue and patient visits and improved doctor recruitment at Oakwood Healthcare, Inc.
Additionally, McBride is a graduate of Slippery Rock University with a Bachelor’s in Health Services and Business Administration. He received his Master of Health Services Administration and Master of Business Administration from Xavier University.
In his spare time away from daily healthcare operations, McBride enjoys spending time with his family and competitive cycling events.
