Expert Foot and Ankle Surgeon Joins The Paley Institute

West Palm Beach, Fla. – August 1, 2016 – Palm Beach Health Network Physician Groups (PBHNPG) is pleased to announce Brad Lamm, DPM, FACFAS, a board-certified podiatric foot and ankle surgeon, is joining the PBHNPG multispecialty physician network and The Paley Institute. Dr. Lamm will be the new Chief, Foot and Ankle Surgery as well as Director, Foot and Ankle Deformity Correction Fellowship at The Paley Institute. He is the former Head of Foot and Ankle Surgery at the International Center for Limb Lengthening (ICLL), Rubin Institute for Advanced Orthopedics at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore. He specializes in the treatment of foot, ankle and lower leg conditions in both children and adults. His office is conveniently located at the Paley Institute on the campus of St. Mary’s Medical Center and Palm Beach Children’s Hospital in West Palm Beach, where he is on staff at both hospitals.

Dr. Lamm is an expert in treating diabetic foot deformities, ankle disorders, sports or athletic injuries, arthritis, flatfoot, bunions, hammertoes and various foot and ankle ailments. He is highly-skilled and experienced in joint distraction, a new technique which uses external fixation to preserve ankle and great toe joints preventing the need for fusion or replacement. Dr. Lamm is skillfully advanced in minimally invasive surgery techniques to correct diabetic Charcot foot and to lengthen metatarsals and toes.

For being a physician known in his community, Dr. Lamm was voted Top Doctor in Baltimore Magazine numerous times. His expertise is known globally, as he treats patients from all over the world with foot and ankle deformities. Dr. Lamm has also been featured on the TV show, “The Doctors”, as an expert discussing foot and toe lengthening.

During his professional medical career, Dr. Lamm has written over 75 book chapters and peer review research articles. He has been awarded numerous grants, published medical research in national and international journals, including numerous abstracts on foot and ankle research. He has also participated as an invited lecturer at dozens of medical conferences, meetings and symposiums. Dr. Lamm is the editor of the Research Section of the Journal of Foot & Ankle Surgery and a peer reviewer for various medical journals.

Dr. Lamm serves as medical advisor on the Board of Directors for the Board of Certification/Accreditation, International. He is a Rotation Director/Professor at the Harvard Medical School and trains physician residents from many surgical programs across the U.S.A.

When he’s not providing expert foot and ankle care, Dr. Lamm enjoys biking, fly-fishing, sailing, horseback riding, soccer, lacrosse and dancing.
