Dr. Joseph Ricotta said elective surgeries have resumed in his operating rooms at Delray Medical Center after completing an elective surgery just after the statewide ban was lifted. In the TV News feature, Dr. Ricotta said many of the elective surgeries he performs are done to prevent minor problems from becoming major problems. He added, “if we can take care of them on an elective basis, then they don’t become an emergency.”
