Dr. Al-Azzawi specializes in same-day discharge colon surgeries that may benefit patients with an easier, more comfortable recovery at home. Advanced surgical techniques and Enhanced Recovery After Surgery Protocols (ERAS) allow some patients who meet the criteria to go home the same day.
