Endovascular-Surgery-1 Endovascular surgery is a form of minimally invasive surgery in which treatment of vascular disease is done from inside the blood vessel. It is performed through tiny holes, rather than through large external incisions. When done so, procedures can often result in smaller scars, less pain and faster recovery times than traditional open methods. Palm Beach Health Network Physician Groups board certified endovascular surgeons have over 50 years combined experience in surgical procedures. The following includes a sample of procedures that can be performed by minimally-invasive endovascular methods:
  • Carotid artery stenting
  • Peripheral artery balloon-angioplasty and stenting (including renal, iliac, and femoral artery interventions )
  • Stent-grafts for abdominal aortic aneurysms (AAAs) and thoracic aortic aneurysms
  • Thoracic Aortic Aneurysm (TAAs)
  • Hybrid endovascular repair aortic arch and thoracoabdominal aortic aneurysm
  • Endovascular repair of aortic dissection, aortic ulcer and aortic transection
